The news that our beloved iCarly would be coming to an end this year was definitely sad, but when we learned that Jennette McCurdy would be returning to Nick in a series of her own, we saw the silver lining. Now, details of Jennette’s new show are finally coming out – and we are floored by the famous costar she’s bringing on board. Who could possibly make us EVEN MORE excited about a Jennette show? How about Ariana Grande, Jennette’s real life BFF?
Entertainment Weekly just released the exclusive scoop that Nickelodeon has officially ordered a spin-off pilot starring Jennette as her iCarly character, Sam, and Ariana as Cat from Victorious.
Can we just say: Whoa!
The spin-off show is currently titled Sam and Cat, but that could change before it hits the air. The show will follow Cat and Sam moving in together as roommates and starting a babysitter business to fund their crazy adventures. Although, we can’t quite imagine who would leave their kids with temperamental Sam and crazy Cat. Still, we can’t wait to see how this seemingly odd couple fit together.
