Leo Howard, black belt martial artist and star of Kickin’ It, will be co-hosting with John Brenkus for Disney XD and ESPN’s newest project- Sport Science! Premiering Saturday, September 29 at 11 am ET/PT, Sport Science uncovers some of sports’ biggest myths and mysteries through cool scientific experiments. John and Leo will even be teaming up with famous athletes to challenge assumptions about athletes and sports. They’ll definitely be changing the way you watch your favorite sports games on TV or live in the arena. Leo even spilled to us about one of the crazy experiments he got to try first-hand!
“I had the opportunity on the show to be able to strap on anti-gravity boots myself and I could immediately feel my body adjusting to the difference,” said Leo. “They handed me a yo-yo and it was practically impossible for me to throw it. The purpose of this was to physically experience how much your eyes and your brain rely on muscle memory. If you switch it up, you have to re-teach your muscles how to do simple tasks.”
