Last night, we headed to CBS Studios in Los Angeles, California, for a live taping of The X Factor. It was SO cool! We got to sit in the audience and in between commercial breaks we spotted Demi Lovato (who’s a judge on the show) meeting her fans, signing autographs and giving hugs. She was so sweet!

But our favorite part of the night was when the group 1432 sang a cover of Demi’s “Skyscraper.” Demi was so shocked! She couldn’t believe they sang one of her songs.

After the show, we headed to a special VIP area where we got to interview all of the judges, including Demi Lovato! She told Tiger Beat all about her reaction to 1432’s performance.
“The first few seconds it started playing, I didn’t realize it was my song,” she spills. “I was like, ‘Oh my god!’ They did an absolutely amazing job and I genuinely believe that they did a better job than I did and I couldn’t be more proud. It’s an honor they performed the song.”
Wow, what a compliment!
