Rumors flew when Selena split briefly from BF Justin Bieber that she had was following in the footsteps of her bestie Taylor Swift and snagging a One Direction cutie. Which of the guys did the rumor mill link Sel with? Why, none other than 1D’s Irish hottie Niall Horan, who was rumored to have flirted with Sel at the Kids’ Choice Awards earlier this year.
It looks like Justin and Selena have put their differences behind them (for now at least) to give love another go, but even if they’d decided to stick to the split, fans of Nialler have nothing to worry about: Sources say he wouldn’t want to date Selena even if she were single!
“Niall and Selena are friendly with each other, but they don’t want to date each other,” a source told SugarScape. “They’re not attracted to each other. And if they were attracted to each other (but they’re not), Niall wouldn’t want to hurt his friendship with Justin by dating Selena. Niall still has a crush on Demi Lovato, who’s been Selena’s friend for a long time. He wouldn’t ruin his chances with Demi by dating Selena.”
Well there you have it: Kind of, sort of, anonymous proof that we don’t have to worry about Siall or Nelena 2.0 any time soon.
