A few weeks ago, pictures of Taylor Swift with shorter, pinker locks kept popping up on the internet and we kept thinking, “Um, what?” Turns out, the pink tipped ‘do was for Tay’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” music video!
The video for her next song off of Red is premiering on MTV on Thursday at 4 p.m. EST! It might just sound like another day of the week to you, but the date has special meaning for T.Swift: it’s also her 23rd birthday! Not only that, but “I Knew You Were Trouble” will be her 23rd music video!
We’re super excited to see the video because we know it’s going to be just as rockin’ as the song. The live performances she’s done so far of the song have been really awesome and definitely worthy of the dance-y rock tune.
“As soon as I started writing this song, I knew it was different from anything else on the record, so I knew that I wanted the video to be different from anything we’d ever done,” Taylor told Cosmo UK magazine. “I wanted to tell the story of a girl who falls into a world that’s too fast for her, and suffers the consequences.”
