When an artist puts out a new album, we always hear a lot of the same things – they want to grow with the album, they want to show fans they’re more mature, they want to make something that doesn’t sound like anything they’ve ever done. We’re used to our favorites saying these things (and coming through on them in great ways). But when E! asked Selena Gomez about her new album at her Nylon cover party, well, she dropped an adjective we’re not as used to hearing about new music: Sassy.
“I’m having a lot of fun expressing everything that I’m feeling,” Selena said of the album, which she’s currently finishing recording. “I’ve been telling people I’m definitely a little bit more sassy now. I’m a little bit more mouthy.”
What do you think Sel means by “sassy”? We’re pretty sure that means there’s going to be a tell-all song about her relationship with Justin – and that it might not be as sweet as his “Nothing Like Us.” What do YOU think? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!
