New tattoo alert – and for once, we’re not talking about Justin Bieber or the guys of One Direction. Miley Cyrus just debuted her newest tat, a pair of crossed arrows just above her right elbow. The artist behind the simple-but-fierce new ink is none other than famous tattoo artist Kat Von D, who Instagrammed her own pic of the tat with the caption, “Loved tattooing @MileyCyrus yestrday! Simple symbols of friendship make beautiful tattoos. <3."

We’re trying to decide what meaning the tattoo might have for Miley. The arrows remind us of Katniss – could it be a tribute to fiance Liam Hemsworth‘s mega-hit movie The Hunger Games?
