Taylor Swift‘s latest album Red is up for Record of the Year thanks to the lead single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” The country singer is busy getting ready for the awards and officially confirmed that she will set the scene for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards with the opening performance.

“I have a lot to plan for with the opening performance and I’m just really hoping all the pieces come together this week. Because this is when it really gets really crazy, but it’s all very exciting too,” Taylor said on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

As for the song Taylor is going to perform, she hinted at what fans could expect. “I think you should perform the song that’s nominated,” she told Seacrest.“Like, if you got a song nominated for Record of the Year, you might as well perform that. It’s a big hint.”

So what’s next for Tay and Red? Her next single! Tay told Ryan that she is excited for “22” to be the next single off of Red.

I’m really stoked that that’s going to be the next single,”
Swift said. “I wrote that about my friends, like finally I’ve got this amazing group of girlfriends and we tell each other everything, we’re together all the time. And I think that was kind of the marker of me being 22, like having all these friends and there’s all these question marks in your life, but the one thing that you have is that you have each other.”
