If case you’ve been living under a rock, the The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex premieres TONIGHT at 8PM ET on the Disney Channel! Jake T. Austin, who plays Max Russo, spills what it was like for the Wizards of Waverly Place cast to reunite. Coming back to see the cast was fun,” Jake admits to Just Jared Jr. “We were all looking forward to getting the opportunity to work together again. We just didn’t know what it would be and we’re happy Disney decided to do it.”
Wizards starlet Selena Gomez worked extra hard for tonight’s special. She is the executive producer and star of the show! “Selena did a great job, both on-camera and off-camera,†Jake dishes. “A lot of the stunt work was choreographed, and to make it look natural was not easy. Incorporating magic and comedy and a lot of elements into the show very difficult. But like the series, we were able to pull it off, so hopefully fans are able to get what they want.â€
