The Ever-Changing Hairstyles of Liam Payne

The Ever-Changing Hairstyles of Liam Payne

One of the best things to love about One Direction‘s Liam Payne (aside from his stellar voice and his incredibly fit physique) is his boy-next-door good looks, and although he has hasn’t really ever had one hairstyle for more than a few months since the X Factor days, we still absolutely adore every thing he does with his hair.

Unlike fellow 1D band mates Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, who are known for their signature hairstyles (the curly mop and the faux hawk/quiff), Liam likes to switch things up every so often, and jeep things fresh.

Let’s take a journey through time and space, and thoroughly examine the evolution of the Payne Train’s head of luscious brown locks.

With rising fame, comes rising hair. In an effort to give his look more edge, Liam took inspiration from Zayn with this almost mile-high quiff.

It’s hard to explain, but when Liam shocked the pop world by cutting off most of his hair in favor of a buzzcut, it gave him a younger, yet more masculine look…and we LOVED it. He looked like grade-A boyfriend material FOR SURE.

Now that Liam’s hair is growing back, there’s not much he can do to it except put it into some form of a quiff again. Not that there is anything wrong with that…Zayn doesn’t have to be the only good-looking member of 1D with an equally good-looking quiff.
