Switched At Birth star Vanessa Marano is all about girl power! She recently offered up dating advice, encouraging girls to have the confidence to be single.
“It can be hard, but [taking a break from relationships] usually helps keep you level-headed,†explains Vanessa.
She also advocated that girls stay independent, and not wait for guys to come and save them.
“Let’s get over the damsel in distress thing,†she said. “We’re so lucky we’re in a society now where men are attracted to women who can take care of themselves and stick up for themselves.â€
