Tiger Beat: How would you describe your sound?
Josh Levi: It’s pop, R&B, alternative, high energy and just fun.
TB: How does it feel to have written and released your very first single, “Doctor?â€
Josh: Awesome! It’s really cool. I’ve probably heard it 300 times in the past 24 hours. I wrote the song fully and a producer helped it come to life. Writing it was so fun.
TB: What do you hope your fans get out of the song when they listen to it?
Josh: My intent is always for my music to affect you in some way, whether you connect with the melody, you understand what I’m saying or like the artistry. This song is about me taking away pain from someone I love, in this case my fans. It is a digital thing that is there for them, when I physically can’t be.
TB: What is your favorite lyric in “Doctor?â€
Josh: Hand in my hand, not letting go, here is my sweater. Don’t get cold.
TB: When is the music video going to be released?
Josh: The video will come out mid November. It will premiere on AwesomenessTV’s Top Five Live.
