Over the past 7 years, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas’ friendship has set the bar high for all girl and guy besties. These two have been through so much together over the years, and we’ve loved every minute of it.

June 2008

June 2008: Demi and Nick star in Disney’s Camp Rock together.

July 2008: Demi is the opening act for The Jonas Brothers’ Burnin’ Up Tour.

September 2008: Demi releases her debut album, Don’t Forget, which The Jonas Brothers helped her write.

February 2009: The Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience film, which highlights their tour with Demi, releases in theaters across the U.S.

August 2010: Demi is a guest on the Jonas Brothers Live in Concert World Tour.

September 2010: Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premieres on Disney Channel.

July 2011: Nick reports that Demi’s new single “Skyscraper” is, “Great. She played it for me a while ago. It’s great.”

July 2012: Demi surprises her audience at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California with Nick. The two performed “Catch Me” and “Don’t Forget” together.

August 2012: Nick and Demi co-judge on the X Factor for the Judge’s House Round, where the top 16 acts are revealed.

August 2013: Demi and Nick perform at the TCA’s together. Nick crushes it on the drums, while Demi sings, “Made in the USA.”

February 2014: Nick becomes the musical and creative director for Demi’s Neon Lights tour.

November 2014: The two release their emotional duet “Avalanche.”

May 2015: Demi and Nick create a new record label, Safehouse Records, together.

August 2015: The two perform at the pre-concert for the MTV MVAs.

September 2015: Demi wishes nick a Happy Birthday on Instagram with the cutest throw back picture saying, “Happy bday to one of my favorite people in the whole wide world, Nick Jonas!!! Love you brother. Look at that #jofro tho…” LOL. Too cute!

October 2015: Demi plans to have Adam Lambert as the opener for her Confident Tour, but replaces him with Nick Jonas last minute, creating the Future Now Tour.
