Zayn Malik sent shockwaves when it was announced last year that he’d be, err, going in a different direction and parting ways with One Direction.
Since then, it’s been a whirlwind year for Zayn – and we’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of a debut solo album. Now, the former Directioner is triumphantly enjoying the success of his latest single, “Pillowtalk,” which just reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100!
In the video, Gigi Hadid plays the object of his affection, and we can’t help but wonder if she’ll make more appearances on the album, which is scheduled to drop March 25. Coincidentally, the date also marks the one-year anniversary of Zayn’s departure from One Direction.
