It’s really good to be Ariana Grande and Karlie Kloss!
Both ladies have been named to the TIME 100 list, which recognizes the most influential people in arts, music, tech and more. And we are in awe; previous recipients have included Beyonce, Mark Zuckerberg, Misty Copeland, and Apple’s Tim Cook, to name just a few of the notable honorees.
Jason Robert Brown, who gave Ariana her breakout role in the musical 13, couldn’t help but gush about his former prodigy.
“That voice—powered by nothing but your remarkable empathy, your ravenous intelligence, your cool discipline and your voracious ambition. They’re going to underestimate you, and you, my beautiful friend, are going to make music.”
As for Karlie? She’s the perfect example of the modern millennial woman, according to designer Diane von Furstenberg.
“As a model, a businesswoman, a young philanthropist and a force on social media, she doesn’t just connect with her generation—she leads it, inspiring young women around the world to become the women they want to be, just as she has done so beautifully.”
Kudos to these ladies for being trailblazers! #Whoruntheworld
