It’s a great day to be Aly Raisman!
The 22-year-old gymnastics phenom was recently named captain of the 2016 U.S. women’s gymnastics team, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Aly led the ‘Fierce Five’ to gold at the 2012 London Games, where she won three Olympic medals herself. Work it, girl!

Teammate Gabby Douglas gushed about the pair’s tight bond, and it’s obvious these ladies are ready to win big in Rio:
“To have her just lead this team, we’ve been there, and for us to be back on this road together is just amazing and kind of different because we were on the same team and now we’re on the same team again. It’s just a special bond.â€
Can’t wait for Rio? The games officially start on August 5, but in the meantime, you need to watch Aly’s ‘impossible’ floor routine!
