After absolutely slaying at the EMAs last week, Shawn Mendes is still floating on cloud nine! But taking home three awards (Best Artist, Best Song and Biggest Fans) and hitting the stage with an unforgettable performance of “There’s Nothing Holdin Me Back,” aren’t the end of Shawn’s upward spiral. He’s already talking about his next album!
In a recent interview, the 19-year-old singer-songwriter gushed about soon-to-be third studio album, which he says he’ll be working on for the next year or so — Shawn even revealed that his new sound will leave fans “surprised,” despite not knowing exactly what that sound is yet. We can’t wait to hear it!
“I’ve been working on my next album, album three…I think people will be surprised, but I’m not sure about the sound yet. I’m still exploring and trying to figure myself out. Anything is possible.”
