Everyone has to start somewhere!

Triple threat Zendaya might be at top of her game right now, but it wasn’t always an easy road getting there. During a recent interview, the “Spiderman: Homecoming” star and Disney Channel alum looked back at one of her first-ever jobs. Back in the day, she starred in a Kidz Bop music video for Katy Perry‘s classic “Hot N Cold” as an on-scree dancer, and even though she was charismatic and talented, she felt upstaged by all of the other kid son set.

So what did she do to make herself stand out on camera? She spontaneously attempted her first front-flip without ever having tried to do one before!

“I was like ‘I gotta step it up a notch because these kids are really killing it.’ For some reason, I decided to do a front flip. Never did one before in my life, other than inside my living room playing around. Thank God I landed it! It could have been terrible, but it ended up working.”
