Did you know there was a retro Pop’s sequence set to appear in season two of “Riverdale” that was cut for time? It would have shown us the characters we know and love appearing at the diner throughout the decades, but it didn’t fit into the “Nighthawks” episode it was written for.

“The camera tracked across like four or five booths, and each booth was a different time period,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told EW.

“In one booth, you had the kids in the ’40s. In another booth you had Kevin and Moose in the ’50s, and in another booth you had Josie and the Pussycats in the ’70s. In the next booth, you had Cheryl in the ’80s.”

Though we didn’t get to see the scene in full, the show’s costume designer Rebekka Sorensen Kjelstrup is giving fans an inside look!
