Okay, this connection between ‘Riverdale‘ and ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ is kind of crazy!
Creator and producer of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ Julie Plec, directed a recent episode of ‘Riverdale’ and put together this similarity between the two shows. It turns out the house used for Cheryl’s home, Thistlehouse, is the same house that Stefan and Damon from ‘The Vampire Diaries’ lived in!
See what Julie had to say about the crazy coincidence:
“It was so funny, I had seen Thistlehouse on camera but it hadn’t registered with me,” she said about the Blossom manor. “And when we pulled up the driveway for the location scout to go see it, I was like, ‘This is so familiar. I feel like I’ve been here before.’ I was like, ‘Gosh, I really think I know this [place].’ And then I actually took a good look at the house and realized it was the Salvatore House from [The Vampire Diaries] pilot. Isn’t that hilarious?“
