After giving us the inside scoop on everything we can expect from the upcoming season, the 14-year-old actress opened up in a recent interview about how she hopes to see her character continually grow throughout future episodes, and the amazing impact she’s seen so far on fans and followers:
“I’ve gotten so many DMs from girls on Instagram saying, ‘I never thought I could try out for the boys’ soccer or basketball team, but seeing Buffy do it inspired me to try out.’”
And it’s the positive and inspiring effect Buffy has on viewers all over the world that makes all Sofia’s hard work worth it:
“It’s made this whole experience so worth it, because I don’t want to be an actress just to be famous. I want to have a platform so I can use my voice to inspire people and let them know they can do anything.”
