Shawn Mendes’ new collab with Khalid titled “Youth” has a powerful message about holding onto your youth through hard times, and his latest move is helping teens do exactly that.
After the song received support from David Hogg, a founder of the March For Our Lives movement, Shawn opted to donate a portion of the merch sales around the track to the gun reform cause.
Shawn recently revealed the song was inspired by the attack at Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert last year, so the decision to help end violence through the song and its support is a powerful one.
