Fans can soon see Sabrina Carpenter on the big screen!
The 19-year-old actress will be featured in a supporting role as high school mean girl, Hailey, in the upcoming film “The Hate U Give,” set to be released this October!
Also starring Amandla Stenberg and KJ Apa, the movie is a powerful film about standing up for what you believe in! In a recent interview, Sabrina, along with the rest of the cast, opened up about what they hope viewers will take away from the message behind the film. They’re hopeful that this movie will get people talking about the events portrayed. Check out what Sabrina had to say:
“I hope it opens a dialogue; that’s the most important thing. I think it opens a lot of people’s minds into the privileges that some people have and are born with and some of the things that other people face that they’ll never have to understand.”
