Sofie Dossi proves that anything is possible!
The 17-year-old star just launched a brand new clothing line and we are so proud of her! Currently, Sofie is making an appearance on the VidCon stage, but we can’t wait to see what she does next. This girl is a true inspiration!
We caught up with Sofie to talk about her new clothing line and she totally opened up about what it was like to create something so personal to her. Keep scrolling to check out what she had to say!
“It’s important to me that young people know that they are capable and strong. Strength comes in many forms – not just from the body – and the greatest strength is from the heart. I want everyone to feel that.”
What was the inspiration behind your new apparel?
Sofie: I was inspired by my own experiences of following my heart to do something I loved even though it didn’t make sense to anyone else. I wanted to share with everyone that the strength inside is what makes you strong outside. Amazing things can happen when actions come from the heart.
How do you want fans to feel when they wear your apparel?
Sofie: I want them to feel the they can do anything as long as they act from their heart and stay true to themselves.
What was the creation process like, were there any steps or behind the scenes moments that surprised you?
Sofie: It seemed like a challenge to try to create one single symbol that represented me and my message. I wanted to express strength, but not in an aggressive way. I wanted to express love, but not in a passive way. I loved the result.
If you could tell your fans one thing, what would it be?
Sofie: When you’re empowered by your heart, anything is possible.
Sofie is also set to star in a new series called, “Boss Cheer”!
