Who doesn’t love 5 Seconds of Summer?!

The Australian boyband, who just hit a major milestone with their album “Youngblood,” got real in a recent interview about all things music, touring and even opened up about having a mainly female fanbase.

The boys – Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin – revealed that having mostly female fans has not only taught them a lot about themselves, but also helped them a lot when writing songs about relationships!

“You never want to [be patronizing towards] younger fans, in particular female, because that’s what our demographic was, and still is in large part. So in lyrics, we always overestimate our fans. The lyrics on this album are very deep.”
