Ethan Wacker Opens Up About His ‘Bizaardvark’ Audition Process

How did Ethan Wacker land is role on Disney Channel’s “Bizaardvark“? Now we know!

In a recent interview, the 16-year-old actor spilled all the details on the audition process, and it’s not as simple as it sounds! After Ethan was cast in the pilot as Trey, his character was written out of the show, and he had to go back in and re-audition for Bernie not once, not twice, but three times!

It all paid off in the end! The laugh-out-loud series — also starring Madison Hu, Olivia Rodrigo, DeVore Ledridge and more fan-favorites — returns for its third season next week.

“I did the pilot, but then they kind of transformed the pilot and my character, Trey, was taken out so I had to re-audition for Bernie, so I didn’t get carried over. [I had] three [callbacks]. I sent in a tape, went to L.A., did one [and] this was during the time when I was back in Hawaii, and then I went back [to L.A.].”
