Last night at the iHeart Radio Much Music Video Awards, the 20-year-old singer teamed up with EMD DJ, Marshmello – known for keeping his identity hidden under a white helmet – and totally pulled off the most epic prank, ever!
While onstage to accept the award for Best EDM/Dance Artist, Marshmello decided to reveal his true identity once and for all, so off came the helmet. The crowd went crazy when Shawn was revealed as the person under the helmet because, let’s be real, no one was expecting that! Check out the video, below, to see how the prank went down:
