We can all relate to Lara Jean in one way or another!

In a recent interview, 21-year-old actress Lana Condor — who just shared the teaser trailer for her next sure-to-be epic project — opened up about how there were moments on set where she related to her on-screen character so much, she was actually brought to tears!

The “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” star looked back on the scene that struck a chord with her the most:

“The scene with my dad in the diner when he takes me out and talks to me about my mom, I could relate to that. I honestly felt like I was talking to my real dad. When I first read the scene with John [Corbett], I got really emotional because I did think of my birth mother, and not knowing who she is and where she is and what she’s doing and if she’s alive. That triggered me more than I thought it would.”

In case you missed it, this is what the film’s director had to say about a possible sequel!
