Ethel Muggs is back and this time, she’s taking a dark turn!
“Riverdale” season three premieres in less than a month and fans are anxiously waiting to see what their favorite characters are up to when The CW hit series returns to TV screens everywhere on October 10th. Cast members have been teasing the fates of their characters all summer, and the most recent teaser is coming from Shannon Purser herself!
In a recent interview, the 21-year-old break-out star is giving the inside scoop into what’s to come for her character, Ethel. In case you missed it, Ethel and her family were tragically affected by Veronica Lodge and her family, so it’s no surprise that she’s coming back and, this time, with a vengeance.
“Ethel takes a very dark turn in this season, which was a stretch for me. It was good. It was a challenge for me to kind of get to play with all of the emotions she goes through. So, I am excited for people to see it, it should be interesting.”
