From Yara Shahidi to Millie Bobby Brown and everyone in between, these trailblazers are living proof that you’re never too young to stand up and share what makes you different!

1. Yara Shahidi
The 18-year-old “Grown-ish” star stepped into her activist shoes this year when she founded EighteenX18 – a creative platform to engage this generation and educate all 18-year-olds so they can get out and vote! She even hosted the first-ever We Vote Summit in October to encourage young people to use their voice and vote in the 2018 midterm elections.

2. Joshua Rush
the 16-year-old “Andi Mack” actor brought his passions to social media in 2018! Back in February, Joshua launched his weekly Instagram show – “News in a Rush” – to explain the news and educate his fans and follower on important political issues in a quick, easy way.

3. Rowan Blanchard
This 17-year-old “Girl Meets World” star proved, this year, that she’s not your average teenager! Between publishing her first book, “Still Here,” back in February – in which she gives her take on teen life in today’s world – and starring in blockbuster films like “A Wrinkle In Time,” this young woman is making statements in Hollywood and beyond.

I just got this thing I made!!!! I’m so bad and so nervous at talking about anything I make because everything feels like my heart being exposed bIt feels crazy to have it in my hands but I sincerely hope I made something for The Teens❤️ that can somewhat be tangible evidence that we are still surviving ‍♀️ growing up in this world is a mystery to me and I think I needed to make something that proved our existence ‍♀️ anyway, I feel so exposed now,,, you can pre order it at the link in the bio or you can just hold me virtually while I cry because making anything is so scary and vulnerable and embarrassing and from the bottom of my heart I really hope you like it anyway uh you can buy it February 13th and pre order it now
