Things are getting crazy in “Riverdale” this week!
With the epic return of our favorite mystery drama after a too-long mid-season break, we can’t handle everything that’s happening in this small town. From Archie off on his own to Hiram taking over, we almost forgot about the budding romance showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa promised us this season: Reggie and Veronica!
Wednesday’s episode confirmed that we’ll be seeing more of this pairing as time goes on, and Charles Melton recently dished on how he and IRL girlfriend Camila Mendes‘ characters will evolve:
“Not only will you see this relationship grow, but you’ll see their working relationship and how that all ties into everything,” he said. “I think fans are going to be excited….Hopefully we can turn some Varchie fans into Veggie fans.”
Wow, now that’s a big promise! The writers definitely have us on the edge of our seats with everything happening, and if it let’s us see more of Camila and Charles’ chemistry, we’re all for it!
