In a recent interview for their amazing new show “Good Trouble,” Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez couldn’t help but gush over their love of “The Fosters” spin-off series, which promises equal parts fun and real-life issues for sisters Callie and Mariana.

And while we already knew things wouldn’t be smooth sailing for the dynamic duo, we love hearing the actresses speak on the importance of their character’s journeys – especially regarding the tough parts of growing up in the world:

“You’ll see the heartbreaks and the ups-and-downs of growing up. There are some really magical moments…also really hard moments. It’s really comforting knowing that there are other people out there that are going through similar things or getting out of bad situations.”

Wow. We can’t wait to see these girls kill it on-screen throughout the season!
