My sweet baby boy…from the moment you arrived into this world, you brightened everyone’s hearts. There was no denying your kind gentle nature..always staying by my side, holding your little hand from below as you looked up at me with your sweet big brown eyes. One memory I hold close to me is how you always would sit right next to me on the couch and rest your sweet head on my shoulder. But then you grew out of your toddler years and became active, which kept us busy. Taking you to track meets, baseball, snowboarding every weekend, skateboarding & basketball. I embraced every moment cheering you on..thank you for those moments. BUT let’s not forget how you drove your teachers CRAZY playing with your tech-decks all over the classroom with any cool edge you could do a kick-flip with. You loved it so much.. You’ve created the best friendships. Your friends LOVE you to the CORE, a brotherhood really…because you’ve showed them how important it is to enjoy the moment, smile often & to not sweat the small stuff. Another moment that I will hold on forever is when you discovered you enjoyed singing. You really weren’t that great haha BUT I knew there was passion behind it. And I mean, an extraordinary amount of deep-to-the-soul passion. I will hold onto those moments when you would come into my room every night before bed to sing to me to show me the latest song you nailed down…with a new run. You were destined for greatness. And here you are, now 20 years old. No longer a teenager. What you’ve accomplished in just a few years is unfathomable…moving the family out of our small town, traveling the world with your best friends/band mates, 3 freaking Gold Records and being an amazing supportive father to precious Lavender. I’m not sure how much more proud I could be! Happy 20th birthday bubby! “I love you forever, I love you for always…as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”
