A celebration with McDonalds? Sounds like a dream!
In case you missed it, earlier this summer Aussie boyband, 5 Seconds of Summer, made history with their third album, “Youngblood” by being the first Australian act with three number one albums on the Billboard 200. In a recent interview, the boys – Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, and Calum Hood – revealed what they were doing when they found out that the album reached the top spot, and it includes a nine hour delayed flight!
Watch the video, below, to see the band’s lead singer, Luke, tell the story about hitting number one:
“We were on a plane and our plane was delayed for six hours or something. So, everyone was really bummed out and the pilot comes on the intercom and says we’re going to be on the ground for another three hours, so we got told by our manager just after. We get up and start cheering and we’re really stoked and everyone’s like ‘why are you guys so excited?’ And then we got off the plane and had McDonalds!”
The 5SOS boys recently dropped a spooky video for their newest single “Valentine”!
