What is it like to drop a song written by Meghan Trainor and film the music video on the top of the Empire State Building? Chloe Jane is here to tell you: It’s pretty incredible.
The 14-year-old pop singer and aspiring DJ told us all about what her music means to her and why “Superstar” is the perfect summer BFF jam.
TigerBeat: Your “Superstar” video is SO much fun! What was your favorite part of filming it?
Chloe Jane: Filming at the top of the Empire State Building was the most fun because we got such amazing shots and it is almost impossible to get permission to film up there.
TigerBeat: Were you a big Meghan Trainor fan before working with her on the song?
Chloe Jane: Yes! She is one of my all time favorite artists and songwriters. Some of my favorite songs are “No,” “All About That Bass” and “Woman Up.”
TigerBeat: You’re also a DJ, which is so cool! Tell me about why you love DJ-ing.
Chloe Jane: I love to get people to dancing, have a good time and I can play and sing my own songs as well.
TigerBeat: What message do you hope people take away from “Superstar”?
Chloe Jane: It is important in life to work hard but also be able to have fun with your friends.
