Now we know! The “Denim Jacket” singers – who dropped the joint song we never knew we needed in our lives – are dishing on the story behind teaming up for the bop, and it’s everything we wanted to know!
“We had a meeting and we got to pick our song…’Denim Jacket’ was the first one we heard, and we knew we wanted to choose that one right away,” gushed Emily. “We heard it in our [‘Total Eclipse‘] character’s voices and we were like ‘Yeah, this makes sense for the two of them,'” Lilia added.
We love how their characters influenced the song, and we can’t imagine a better team-up from the two of them!
