It’s the best time of the year again: awards show season!
One of our all-time favorite awards shows is definitely Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards! From musical performers to slime to hilarious hosts, there are so many reasons that we are excited for this awesome event that we wait for every year! Read on to find out the top five reasons we’re so thrilled the KCAs are almost here!
1. The musical performances are amazing! We always love watching who performs at the KCAs and this year, it’s starlet JoJo Siwa! And who doesn’t love this happy-go-lucky starlet?! JoJo is performing one of her original songs, and we can’t wait to hear it! We’re sure there are going to be many more exciting performances at the show, too!
2. John Cena is hosting again! Get ready for tons of LOL-worthy moments with the hilarious John Cena hosting the show for yet another year! According to Nickelodeon, “Even though he got majorly slimed last year-he’s coming back for more.” We can’t wait! Nickelodeon even did a super cool ‘this or that’ video with John so fans could get to know him better before the show!
3. The Orange Carpet! We always love watching stars strut down the Orange Carpet before the event and seeing all the amazing outfits, and performances! Last year, Jacob Sartorius even performed on the Orange Carpet. We can’t wait to see what this year has in store!
4. Watching who gets slimed! It wouldn’t be Nickelodeon unless at least one person gets slimed! It’s always super funny to watch your favorite celebrities get slimed at this fun awards show!
5. Seeing who wins! Every year, there are tons of talented nominees, but there can only be one winner for each category. It’s always exciting to make predictions with your friends about who’s going to win! This year, everyone’s favorite TV squad is nominated (the kids of ‘Stranger Things’), and so are fan favorites like songstress Camila Cabello and cutie Shawn Mendes!
