Sabrina Carpenter Opens Up About Evolving as an Artist Ahead of ‘Singular’ Release

If you’re getting ready for Sabrina Carpenter‘s upcoming album, “Singular,” you’re not the only one!

The “Bad Time” singer – whose third studio album is set to drop tomorrow – dished in a recent interview all about how she’s preparing for people to hear her new sound. And while fans have been loving Sabrina’s recent singles like “Paris,” the 19-year-old star admits it can still be nerve-wracking to release a record different from her previous ones!

“I guess it starts when you get very close to releasing it,” said the singer. “To me, this doesn’t sound like a different sound because it’s happened so naturally and…I did what I felt. But now starting to release some of these songs and seeing the reactions and seeing that people do think it’s so different is also really cool and shows me that it’s exactly what I wanted to do.”

We love seeing Sabrina grow as an artist, and can’t wait to hear her new sound on “Singular!” Hear what else the singer had to say about evolving as a musician in the video, below:
