‘Stranger Things’ Star Gaten Matarazzo Opens Up About Rare Condition

Gaten Matarazzo is finding his voice!

When Gaten isn’t busy rocking the red carpet or singing along to boyband classics, he spends time raising awareness for his rare condition, cleidocranial dysplasia. This condition means that Gaten was born without a collarbone and it also affected his teeth growth.

The “Stranger Things” star sat down with the cast of “The Doctors” to talk about his condition and what it means. Gaten shared that his condition didn’t hinder his opportunity to get the role of Dustin Henderson, it may have actually been an advantage!

I think what the Duffer brothers, the directors of the show, what they really wanted to do was they really wanted to make sure each character in the show was unique and they had something that was realistic and personal.

Check out Gaten sharing all about his condition and more below!
