Whoa! This bit of breaking news is going to blow your mind. We caught up to Austin Mahone over the weekend to talk about everything from romance to rumors (check out future issues of Tiger Beat for some of the juiciest secrets Austin spilled to us!). There was one thing he told us that we just couldn’t wait to share with you, though. We asked Austin if there were any summer songs that he wished were his to sing and his answer totally shocked us. He revealed EXCLUSIVELY to Tiger Beat that he was actually offered the chance to record Ariana Grande‘s hit “Break Free” a year ago!
“Actually, Ariana’s new song that just came out was supposed to be mine like a year ago,” he spilled. “‘Break Free,’ like they sent it to me and I was supposed to record it, but I never did.”
