Major update for all social media addicts! Instagram just released a ‘Stories’ feature, and it’s pretty similar to Snapchat!
Instagram Stories lets you share all of your photos and videos in a slideshow format. Don’t freak out about overposting — users can share as much or as little as they want. And just like Snapchat, everything disappears after 24 hours.
Feeling creative? There’s text and drawing tools for that.
Once you open Instagram, you’ll see stories at the top of your feed, and colorful rings will appear on profiles when new stories are created. Just tap on their profile pic to view the story, and if you like it, send a private message through Instagram Direct (no public comments).
Stories can be private or public, and you can swipe to see who’s viewed your story because keeping tabs on your crush is important.
‘Stories’ rolls out on iOS and Android in the next few weeks, so keep checking your phone for updates!
