Breanna Yde is seriously the best!
We caught up with the ‘School of Rock‘ actress where she dished on the rest of season 2, her favorite memories with the cast and so much more!
TigerBeat: What has been been your favorite part about filming ‘School of Rock?’
Breanna Yde: I love going to the studio and recording new songs for the week. Everyone on set is super nice, and it’s cool to hang out with some of my best friends every day.
TigerBeat: Are there any episodes that stick out to you?
Breanna Yde: I love the finales of both season one and two because they’re awesome, but I love the Demi Lovato episode from the first season. There’s a lot of good episodes that we shot and I love the second season finale because there’s a lot of stunts involved.

TigerBeat: What can fans expect from the rest of season 2?
Breanna Yde: Definitely some original music, as well as big guest star Ryan Tedder, very awesome music and drama. There’s lots happening!
TigerBeat: What has been your favorite memory so far with the cast?
Breanna: My favorite memory of the cast so far has probably been going to the movies. We go to the movies a lot when we’re on set, and we just saw ‘The Conjuring 2.’ We were screaming our heads off, but it was really fun.

TigerBeat: You post a lot of covers like “Castle on the Hill” and “Closer.” How did you get into covers?
Breanna Yde: I’ve always loved music and I’ve enjoyed figuring it out on my own without looking it up. If you go back to my 1,000th post on Instagram, you’d see covers of me playing piano and learning guitar. People are like, ‘You’re so good at guitar. I wish I was that good.’ Not to brag, but I wasn’t good at all when I first started. You can go back to my first cover post and see I was barely playing a chord. So, I think of course I’m sharing my journey throughout music.

TigerBeat: What inspired you to start singing?
Breanna Yde: Singing is one of my biggest passions, and I’ve loved it since I could talk. Whenever I heard a song, I’d sing to it. I grew up with music in my family — my brothers listen to rap, my dad would listens to music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, and my mom loves the ’90s. We always have music on in the house!
