Camila Cabello is the #1 song on Pop Radio, #1 on the Worldwide iTunes chart, and #1 on US iTunes!
We always knew that she could do it — but apparently there were a few haters who weren’t as confident in the 20-year-old former Fifth Harmony member and “Havana” as we were. After reaching this unbelievable accomplishment, Camila took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, and remind them that with or without the #1 spot, she’s happy to continue making music before pointing out that there were a lot of people who doubted her.
She sure showed them!
“People kept saying to us that this song was never gonna work at radio because they didn’t think people would ‘get it,'” she explained.
people kept saying to us that this song was never gonna work at radio because they didn't think people would "get it", and today Havana is 1 at pop radio, thanks to my amazing fan army and my lovely friends at radio for believing and supporting 🙏🏼
