The Cameron Boyce Foundation is picking up where Cameron Boyce left off.

Before his tragic and untimely death, the actor and activist began working on Wielding Peace, a photography project intended to bring awareness to gun violence. The powerful photos feature Cameron — along with his two roommates and former costars Sophie Reynolds and Karan Brar, who will now serve as ambassadors for Wielding Peace — replacing guns with everyday objects, and serve as a reminder that as a society, we need to choose a different weapon.

“I’ve named the concept Wielding Peace. It will be a collection of images that feature people from all walks of life…wielding ‘guns.’ The catch is, the ‘guns’ that we’re using as props will be items that signify unity and peace…a strong statement with the sentiment that we need to choose a different weapon,” Cameron explained.

For more information about The Cameron Boyce Foundation, an organization that helps Cameron’s legacy live on by supporting the causes that he was passionate about: spreading kindness, ending gun violence, clean water — and additionally, advocating for epilepsy awareness — visit the official website here.
