Lili Reinhart is officially a published author. The “Riverdale” actress took to Instagram to surprise fans and followers with a major announcement; she’s secretly been working on a poetry collection called “Swimming Lessons” for the past year, and it’ll hit book shelves on May 5, 2020!
In the candid post, Lili also got real about how scary it is to open herself up in such a real and raw way — especially because her own life experiences serve as inspiration throughout many of the included pieces. Along with a picture of the cover, a simply etched face in pink and white, she wrote:
“It’s scary to reveal a part of myself that I don’t often show, but I like to consider this book as more of a story rather than a confession of thought. Strangers, songs, films, fictional characters, love in various forms, and of course my own experiences were my inspiration throughout the creation of Swimming Lessons.”
