During a recent interview, the 16-year-old “Stranger Things” star chatted with movie industry megastar Ryan Reynolds — who hails from the same hometown as Finn — about his skyrocket rise to fame (which still hasn’t phased his down-to-earth demeanor), what he hopes to accomplish as a future filmmaker (push boundaries), and why the majority of the projects on his resume are influenced by horror (even though his favorite genre is actually comedy).
Finn also opened up about the unexpected way he launched his acting career: by stumbling upon a listing on Craigslist! Can you believe it? And the rest is history…
“There’s a young band from Vancouver and I did one of their first music videos. It was my first job. After that, I just loved being on set so much. It comes from me wanting to make friends all over the world,” he explained.
