All hail the queen!
Billie Eilish absolutely swept the 62nd annual Grammy Awards this weekend, but we’re definitely not surprised! The 18-year-old “everything i wanted” singer won five of her six nominations, making her the youngest artist to ever be nominated for, and to win awards in all four highly-coveted general-field categories: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist. You go, girl! Previously, Christopher Cross, who took home the crown in each of the top categories back in 1981, was the only person to ever do so.
And the most impressive part? Billie wrote, produced and recorded her entire debut album “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?” in her childhood home alongside her big brother and fellow Grammy winner Finneas O’Connell.
