We also talked all things “Hearts On A Pendant,” Gavin’s next single (which officially drops on the 21st), including the real-life inspiration behind his heartfelt lyrics:
“‘Hearts On A Pendant’ is about being heartbroken, not being able to get the girl…You’ve got this girl, and you really like her [but] you know you’ll never get her. It’s a lot of emotions…When I was in the studio making it with my writer…I give him a part of me, he gives me a part of him…That’s how we make our music,” Gavin explains.
