Storytime is here!
Marley Dias is teaming up with Netflix to celebrate Black voices in a brand-new series “Bookmarks,” coming to the streaming service on September 1st. Each episode, hosted by the 15-year-old author and activist, features a children’s book about a Black experience, written by a Black author, and is read aloud by a Black celebrity — including some of our favorites, like Caleb McLaughlin and Marsai Martin!
Marley first made headlines when she launched the #1000BlackGirlBooks drive as a sixth grader, and is keeping the conversation going by providing families a toolset to start meaningful conversations with kids about identity, respect, justice and action on the coming-soon series.
