You’re not the only one! Sabrina Carpenter, whose new movie “Work It” just hit Netflix last week, recently got real about how grateful she is to have grown up on that set because it taught her so many life lessons.

When asked about what it was like playing “Maya” on the Disney Channel series, Sabrina gushed over her experience and reflected on the biggest takeaway she gained from filming the show:

“I learned so much from the people that I was working with who had a lot more experience than I did. I learned just a lot about getting in my body just as far as acting and feeling really comfortable with myself in front of a camera which I still don’t all the time but I definitely think it helped.”
